Snickerdoodles

Yesterday I cooked Snickerdoodles! They turned out really good!!! So here's the recipe:

Snickerdoodles

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 cup butter

2 eggs

2 3/4 cups flour

2 tsp. cream of tartar

1 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. salt

3 tbsp. sugar

3 tsp. ground cinnamon

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix 1 1/2 cups of sugar (I used sucanat instead of sugar but you can use normal sugar), the butter, and eggs in a large bowl.

Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.

(cream of tartar is a kind of spice)

Mix 3 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon. Shame the dough into balls (this will be hard because it's sticky. Don't worry about them not looking good right then.) Roll them into the cinnamon sugar mix. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until set, 8 to 10 minutes. (If you look in the oven and it looks like they are melting don't freak out!!! :) It's ok. It does that.)

When done immediately remove from cookie sheet. Let cool a little bit and enjoy!!! :)

If you cook these don't forget to comment and let me know what you thought of them!! :)

Happy Cooking!

Homemade Lemon Ade

OK guys! For my first recipe I'm going to start of with something super duper easy that is really good in the summer time!!!
Lemon Ade
for this recipe you'll need:
1 cup of Sugar
1 cup of Lemon Juice
6 1/2 cups of water
First you put the sugar in a pitcher (the pitcher must be able to hold 2 liters). Than add the Lemon juice. Add the water, stir well! But in the fridge to cool. Than drink and enjoy!!! :)
This is one of my favorite recipes for Lemon Ade! I'll try to post the recipe for butter scotch brownies on Wednesday! :)
